Successful acquisition of third-party funding in the amount of €1.1 million, with funding granted to the University of Bayreuth from August 1, 2019, to October 30, 2024.
In Germany, more women than men complete university degrees, and nearly half of all doctoral dissertations are written by women. However, less than one-third of habilitations and only one in five professorships are held by women. To specifically increase the proportion of female professors, the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, together with the federal states, supports universities in implementing their gender equality objectives.
